BETAFPV Air vs Meteor (and Pavo): Which Whoop for Analog, HDZero, or DJI?
Short version: start on Air analog — QuadMath’s default is the Air65 path in Gear and Setup. Pick Air75 II if you want one analog whoop for indoor and garden. When you want digital clarity, go HDZero (the Gear HD builds) — not Meteor. Meteor75 Pro O4 only if you already fly DJI goggles. Pavo is cine and proximity later.

Goggles lock the rest. Air means analog goggles. The HDZero path means HDZero goggles. Meteor and Pavo mean DJI. Mixing does not work.
Default: Air65 analog, indoor-first
The measured reference is the Air65 analog daily driver: 25.42 g all-up, 3:53 cruise. That stack is the first whoop guide and Gear’s Analog Daily Driver — the frame is the Air65. Air65 II BNF trims, name-only: Freestyle and Racing for beginners, Champion when you already fly. Air75 II is the one analog if house and garden need one frame. When you start tuning, use the Air65 PID guide.
Digital: HDZero on this site, Meteor if you already own DJI
QuadMath’s digital upgrade is HDZero, via the HD builds on Gear. The video guide and the measured HDZero vs analog write-up are the cost argument. Meteor75 Pro O4 is a DJI O4 whoop. It is the right tool only if you already own DJI goggles. This is not a DJI-first site.
Pavo is cinewhoop later
Pavo20, Femto, and Pico are cine and proximity frames on DJI O4. They are not living-room learners. Buy one after you can fly a whoop, not instead of one.
